Marilena la Casella is a farmhouse that operates in the tourism sector by offering its guests the true agroturismo experience. The farm (or agroturismo) is not only hospitality in the country but rather a presentation of agriculture, its products, rearing of animals and the encounter that takes place with nature and the surrounding area. The property, once intended for farmers, has been transformed into a company with six rustic accommodation, restaurant, swimming pool and 2 acres of land where vegetables are grown and reared animals. The property overlooks the entire valley of the river and the landscape Niccone opens on hills, the cultivated valley and the ruins of an old castle in the distance.
The commitment of the restaurant is preparing dishes with products of our land and agricultural region. What we produce or raise it serve in your table offering fresh dishes and home-made with an excellent wine. Season after season we continue the main job, which is to produce from the land, by involving visitors to the harvest, for growing the vegetable, the olive picking, preparation of jam, or maintenance of animals. All this so that you can live more authentically the simplicity of rural life. We organize cooking classes for those who enjoy this wonderful art. And for smaller special entertainment by our animal friends.
